Todays article was about Governer Bill Richardson of New Mexico decision to support of Senator Barack Obama for president, he urged Democrats to unite behind his candidacy “to move the nation beyond its racialand partisan divide”. Mr.Richardson said “It is now time for a new generation of leadership to lead America forward,” Mr. Richardson said, speaking to thousands of supporters at a rally here. “Barack Obama will be a historic and a great president, who can bring us the change we so desperately need by bringing us together as a nation here at home and with our allies abroad.”
Mr. Richardson also felt disappointed by the direction of the race due to all the negativity thats bee going on as a result of the Clinton campaign. Governer Richardson feels that Barack Obama campaign is postive. Mr. Richardson also spoke about how inspired he was by Senator Barack Obama addressing the race topic in Philadelphia on Tuesday.
My opinions on this article: I agree with Governer Richardson the race was heading in a negative direction, and right now America does not need any negativity. I think the race should be focused on how to make America a better place as oppose to the canidates trying to make each other look bad.
